With the sun shining high in the sky and the fields abounding with ripe fruit, August is the month of harvests, the time when the earth generously offers its gifts. August is seen as a month of prosperity and abundance. In ancient traditions, this was the time of the harvest festival, August 1 marks the festival of Lughnasadh or Lammas, one of the major wheel festivals of the year. This day celebrates the first harvest and honors Lugh, the god of light and skill. It is a time of gratitude for nature's gifts and sharing with community, uniting people in the celebration of prosperity and interconnection with the earth.
Spiritually, August invites reflection and gratitude.
It's the perfect time to take stock of your successes, recognize your achievements and prepare for future challenges. As summer slowly gives way to autumn, there is a call to awareness of the continuous cycle of life, a reminder that at every end there is a new beginning.
The bright colors of our vegetable garden and the splendid blooms of our Hibiscus, sunflowers, hops and cotton fill the eyes with wonder. The days are getting longer, offering more time to enjoy the pleasures of outdoor living, while the nights are getting slightly cooler, heralding the change to come.
In our Agriturismo and Educational Farm "Il Giardino di Manipura" in Massarosa, we have dedicated a series of events and sensory experiences in contact with nature!
From the "Night of San Lorenzo" a night in which the sky seems to open to listen to our dreams and prayers, a moment of introspection and spiritual renewal
to “Tutti in campo” to admire the splendid blooms and gifts of nature, harvesting the fruits to delight our palates with Hibiscus syrups and Euka Beer with eucalyptus!

•10 August• The night of shooting stars! Saturday 10 August Night of San Lorenzo in Manipura 6.00 pm Workshop for children, we will build the solar system together and discover all its curiosities in collaboration with the AstroVersilia Association 8.00 pm Dinner with tasting at km0 in front of the lake, based on platters with local products and tasty dessert After sunset Observation of the celestial vault, we will move to the Manipura planetary observatory and aided by the Astroversilia experts, we will use professional telescopes to discover the mysteries hidden in the starry sky Who knows how many shooting stars we will be able to see! •24 August• Everyone on the pitch with an aperitif! Saturday 24 August, walk among our crops of hibiscus, hops, eucalyptus and medicinal plants! Hop harvest and tasting of our Euka beer with eucalyptus, with tastings of local products! We will walk and discover the exclusive plantations of Manipura together.
•31 August• Dancing Aperitif in Manipura on Saturday 31 August from 6pm 6.00 pm Experiential meeting-dialogue: "The dancing body: the creative power of women" 7.00 pm Themed aperitif with 0 km products accompanied by evolutionary oriental dance show An evening dedicated to the natural and spiritual beauty of dance, where the female body becomes an expression of strength and creativity.
