Inside our Agriturismo and Educational Farm "Il Giardino di Manipura" in Massarosa you can experiment, discover and participate in the Botanical Printing laboratory.

Pwe start from the collection of the earth's treasures, to discover their secrets and learn to capture their essence. We learn to carefully place flowers and leaves on the fabric and use heat to extract natural pigments. It's a process that requires patience and attention, but the result is extraordinary. Each piece of fabric becomes a unique work of art, an explosion of colors and shapes inspired by nature itself. Each step is a delicate gesture towards what nature has to offer. It is a moment of connection, a silent dialogue with nature that reveals itself only to those willing to pay attention.  Your hands become art tools as you learn the ancient techniques of Ecoprinting. Each petal, each leaf will have its own unique voice on the white fabric. It is a way of expressing beauty that goes beyond simply seeing, it is touching with your hands the life that flows through every natural element. Cooking time! While waiting for nature to release its imprint, its shape and its colours, we relax with a sweet herbal tea of ​​our own production, looking out over our pond, lulled by the sounds of nature that surrounds us.  With the wait suspended, we confide our wet dreams to the wind, hoping that, with its light touch, it can dry our own stoles, thus weaving the sweet and delicate tale of a meeting between heaven and earth.

Enter this world of creativity and connection with nature, and let your hands become the tools that tell the story of our land.

Colors from Nature: The Magic of Natural Dyes There is a corner of tranquility and beauty in our farmhouse that shines with the delicate colors of nature with the extraction of natural dyes from medicinal plants. We carefully collect herbs, flowers and roots, giving them new life in our tinctures.  Let's create magic! With patience and gratitude, we let the plants release their pigments, creating a palette of vibrant colors that are environmentally friendly and natural for our skin.

Our plant treasures are gently washed and prepared for color extraction. This happens through a process that respects the very nature of the plants: we use cold or hot extraction methods, depending on the needs of each plant and the desired shades. In cases where it is necessary and appropriate, the flowers and leaves are macerated or boiled slowly in water or alcohol, thus allowing the plants to release their precious pigments. This is a moment of patient waiting, during which we observe with respect the miracle of nature that unfolds before our eyes. Once the extraction is complete, the resulting liquid is carefully filtered to remove any impurities and obtain a pure, vibrant dye. This precious vegetable elixir is ready to be used in dyeing our fabrics. The carefully selected fabrics are immersed in natural dyes, absorbing the colors of the earth with gratitude and respect. This dyeing process is a true celebration of nature, in which each piece takes on a unique and unrepeatable shade, rich in history and connection with the world around us, in which we paint and weave threads of emotions into each piece created.
