Organic medicinal plants grown in Massarosa In the heart of our farm in Massarosa (LU), medicinal plants thrive thanks to the care and attention we dedicate to them. We walk in our fields, between the rows of Lavender, letting ourselves be enveloped by its calming scent, we caress the Rosemary leaves, releasing their life-giving aroma into the air and we let ourselves be conquered by the freshness of the Mint, the balsamic embrace of the Eucalyptus and the grace of the Rosa rugosa of Massarosa.

Steam distillation in our Oligea laboratories In our Agriturismo Il Giardino di Manipura, we create Nature and Wellbeing experiences, with the aim of discovering the secrets of our distillations, learning about the application methods and benefits of essential oils with Aromatherapy courses, improving our psychophysical well-being with courses on Natural Remedies, create emotions and memories by having fun mixing essences and creating personalized, organic and natural perfumes! The journey of extracting our Oligea essential oils begins with harvesting the plants at the moment of maximum vital energy during the height of their wonderful flowering. The plants are selected, prepared and loaded into the stills, large sealed containers where the distillation takes place. Here, the tradition of extraction meets the innovation of our distillers, enhancing the very essence of the plants. Through our low temperature steam extraction method we capture the soul of the plants, transforming it into pure, organic and natural Oligea essential oils of the highest quality.
Our innovative distiller helps maintain the quality and integrity of the essences. The water is heated to a low temperature to produce steam that passes through the plant material, releasing the essential oils. This vapor, loaded with essential oil, then passes through a cooling system, where it condenses into a liquid that separates into two components: the essential oil and the hydrolate, or aromatic water. The art of distillation is a delicate process that requires time, patience and a deep knowledge of plants. Every drop of essential oil contains the purity and vitality of nature, offering a concentrate of benefits for the body and mind.
Essences of nature: our Oligea essential oils Our Oligea essential oils are collected, transformed in our food laboratories and are partly intended for food use, while a significant part is certified for cosmetic and aromatherapy use; we extract essences of Eucalyptus, Lavender, Mint, Rosemary, Pine, Orange, Tea Tree, Rosa Rugosa and much more. Each medicinal plant has different benefits and properties, for example Eucalyptus is an excellent natural remedy to help decongest the nasal area or soothe disorders linked to inflammation, candidiasis, cystitis, dermatitis and acne. The hydrolat, the aqueous part of the distillation, is also preserved for use in various cosmetic products or used as is, excellent as a facial tonic and to make the skin elastic and luminous. Euka IdroEssenziale is ideal as a spray mouthwash, to sanitize the oral cavity and to soothe a sore throat or to treat redness and skin irritation.

Where it all begins: the story of Versil Green, Oligea and Il Giardino Manipura Born in 1999, Versil Green is a reality that has deep roots in the earth and in love for nature. Our farm, located in the green heart of Versilia, specializes in the cultivation of organic eucalyptus and many varieties of medicinal and aromatic herbs. From this vision, our transformation chain, Oligea, was born. The name "OLI GEA" derives from the union of the words "oils", in reference to essential oils and the holistic world, and "gea", the goddess of the Earth in Greek mythology, as well as Hygieia, goddess of health prevention.
