September is a special month, for us it is the month that best represents the "Fifth Season" because it marks the delicate transition between the vibrant energy of summer and the quiet introspection of autumn. In our farmhouse it is experienced as a moment of profound transformation, in which every day brings with it the alternation of light and shadow, sun and rain, reflections of a change that we also feel within ourselves.
It is the time in which the body and mind feel the need to renew themselves, to recharge thanks to the intensity of summer. There is a desire for concentration, to make space within us to welcome new ideas, new projects, just as the nature around us begins to take stock and prepare for the winter rest. As happens in the fields, this is the time to harvest the ripe fruits, to put things in order and to start preparing the ground for what is to come. It is the ideal time to reconnect with nature, let yourself be guided by it and listen to the rhythm of the seasons. In our Farmhouse and Educational Farm Il Giardino di Manipura in Massarosa (LU) we offer experiences that nourish body, mind and spirit, trying to help you find the calm and clarity necessary to face autumn with serenity. There are many manual workshops and sensorial experiences that we put into play, from the spiritual path "In canto" where we will prepare our soul to welcome the change thanks to the medicine songs to the Natural Dyes and Botanical Printing laboratory where we will see how the summer has permeated color and warmth the leaves and flowers that we will use during printing. It will be time to collect the leaves and flowers that we will not find during the winter. On the autumn equinox, children and adults will be able to experiment with the rice and cereal supply chain through workshops and the Bikenic experience, while at the end of the month the day of 28 September will be dedicated to His Majesty King Eucalyptus with the extraction of our Eucalyptus Oligea Essential Oil to discover all the virtues and secrets of this wonderful plant and the alchemy of transformation!
